I have to agree with Catherine Ford. If Smith really interests in peoples' voices, and holding the referendum, then aside from the issue of SEPARATION, what about hospital parking, private clinics for the rich, AHS contracts benefit the family and friends of this regime, opting out CPP, and RCMP, public transit funding, parking tickets, government coverups, education funding, and so on and so on. We should have one referendum every month just to voice citizens' concerns.
Let us start with the by-election, so that Nenshi can have his VOICE!
This type of legislative governance is exactly the way the American Republikkkan party operates. It’s no wonder they want to separate and become the 51st state.
I suggest then that opposition parties hold shadow legislative sessions, and ask the questions hilighting the problems with the bills. Own the news cycle.
Just about every decision the UCP has made has made things more expensive for Albertans, made government service delivery less efficient, and is increasing government spending. And even taking this idea of separatism to a referendum will cost the province billions in investment. This isn’t conservatism. This is insanity.
Also the UCP majority, if some 10,000 votes had switched from UCP to NDP, would have resulted in an NDP win. Let’s not pretend that a majority of Albertans want what the UCP is pushing through.
It would be good governance if the official opposition had some good solutions to the problems we face in Alberta. But no, the ndp just vote for more communism. Well ms. mla , you are telling us you are tired. Is that because the UCP government was in fact passing laws that we conservatives wanted passed? That is what happens when you have a majority .

maybe Nenshi needs to come over to Substack?
Even if its just press releases
I’m sure he is speaking out, but I haven’t heard, as I don’t use Youtube or Facebook
Just a suggestion. Thanks
I’m sure that byelection will be scheduled for some appropriate long weekend.

She will be a lovely Queen for Albertans, I am sure. Look what she has done to them already.
Put this cow out to pasture!!!
I AGREE. Let's put Danielle tRump and the UCP out to pasture.
Alberta will be free and you communists will not prevent that

No debate is cowardly and nefarious.
Well said, Amanda!
